Poulan Pro PR600N21RH Pros: A solid performer. Started up immediately, and has the 4-5 times I have used it. Easy to control and handle. Feels more solid than other push mowers I have used. No excess vibration or noise.
Cons: Either it has a small gas tank or is heavy on gas use. Not a significant problem. Also, no throttle control (I should have looked into this more when researching).
Overall: I would recommend this to anyone with a yard in the 1/3 acre or less range. We have 1/2 acre and it gets a bit heavy after a while.
Works great! This product was a gift for my son who lives in another state. It arrived in perfect condition but he had to put it together. My son is not mechanically inclined at all!! I thought this may be a challenge for him. No! He said it was easy to put together and runs great! He said he no longer has to rake, he just cuts the lawn and the leaves go into the bag with the mulching. He loves it! Selected this particular lawn mower because of the reviews I read prior to purchasing. I recommend this product!
Grass EVERYWHERE Gap at the top of the rear door blows grass directly onto the mower deck, stopping up the air filter very quickly. Buy a honda!

Earthwise elec mower Works great. The flap does sometimes go back under the mower when you pull it backwards, but this hasn't been a major problem. I would recommend this to anyone that has a small area to mow but not for large lawns.
does the job the mower does everything i expected. also is very light and easy to handle.
Great mower for the price I bought this mower at a local hardware chain store for $169.00. This middle-aged, non-mechanically inclined woman had it assembled and running in 5 minutes.
It cuts well and is lightweight easy to maneuver. There is a cord to deal with, but I knew that when I bought it and it isn't a big deal.
It's much quieter than a gas machine, and no messing around with gas and oil and spark plugs...and no toxic emissions.
Nice I don't know; how do you review a push mower? This is almost overkill for the yard I have (takes 20ish minutes to mow my lawn). Assembly was beyond easy. Basically, you add the oil and gas and you're ready to mow. It is a great mower for a smallish yard (say under an hour to mow by hand) and definitely overkill if you are only using it for touch-up for where you can't reach with a rider. If this is coming off as negative, it is not meant to. This is an awesome mower and I love it, especially for the money. This will do what you need it to, and do it without issues.

Concealed Damage Am unable to give actual use of this mower as it arrived with concealed damage to rear wheel bracket causing wheel to be cocked. Bracket bent, and as of now, (have had machine for over 3 weeks) I have been unable to get satisfactory results from Poulan or its online service sites for replacement of the proper bracket so wheel is properly aligned vertically. I believe the mower will work well once this problem is resolved, but so far have not been able to put oil in engine as repair requires mower be placed on side to remove wheel and mounting bracket. Strangely, the Poulan service web site has no info or record of this particular mower model, and a letter to Poulan has as yet to be replied to after over a week and a half. If I can get a new wheel bracket I can replace it myself and start using the mower.....so far I have been stonewalled on this item....... RPQ
Nice Mower! Let me preface by saying that my 12 year old Sears Craftsman side mower with 22" cut finally gave out. So, all my comparisons are against this mower...
I received my Poulan Pro 21-inch 625 this week and cut the grass for the first time today. Out of the box, this was an ease to put together. I added the oil (included) and topped it off with gas. I primed it 3 times as the directions said (expecting it not to start the first pull since this was the first time use). The thing started right up and was purring like a kitten. Since I avoid self-propelled mowers because they constrict my fast walking pace, I was hoping for an easy, maneuverable mower to push. With the large back wheels, above average front wheels, and fairly light frame, I found it remarkably easier to push than my old 22" Craftsman. I had to sacrifice 1" on the blade, but I think I make up for it in time and effort with the ease of push.
I always had my Craftsman wheels set at the next to highest setting to mow through my thick lawn (tall fescue). I only use the bagging option when I'm mowing over leaves, so I decided to try the mulching option and set the Poulan to the same wheel setting as my old set-up (just trying to find my perfect set-up). The mulching worked great, but with my thick lawn, it was a little too "clumpy" for me. The mulching would probably work best later in the summer when the lawn is a little less thick and is a bit baked (as we always get in NC hot summer months). So, I added the side chute next. It worked much better for my thick lawn. I found the wheel setting to be a bit too low still, so I moved the wheels back to the highest possible setting. It worked like a charm. The clumping stopped altogether and my lawn looked better than ever.
Next time, I'll try the mulching option on the highest setting just to see if it will work without major clumping, but I came away with a very positive opinion of the mower. Stylish, lightweight (though quite a bit of plastic ~ so we'll see how it holds up), and a good clean cut, and I give it 4 1/2 stars. Since I used the highest wheel setting and the lawn wasn't super high or anything, I'm a bit worried on how it will perform if I ever do get behind in my mowing and have a longer than normal lawn to mow. I imagine I'll have to bag at that point to avoid clumps, but I'm sure that's fairly normal.
I'm happy with my purchase and looking forward to using it again next week!

For the price, no complaints For the price from Amazon, with free shipping you can not beat this. Minor shipping issue that Amazon took care of rite away. The lawn mower cuts my blend of South Florida Bahia & St. Augustine very well, need motorized skates to keep up with the self propelled, grass catcher (included)works pretty good. No complaints so far in 3 months. I would (did)recommend this to my neighbor & he is satisfied with his.
Good so far Relatively quiet, pretty fair power. Does not bog down too badly on thick grass. The speed if the drive is variable, and works over a pretty wide range of speeds. My wheel level adjusts were damaged in shipping, but bent them back into place and ready to go. Looks like the enamel finish on the body of the mower is a pretty fair coat, and will hopefully fend of rust for a while. Rest of the covers are the standard platic used everywhere nowadays. Now just to see how well it wears.
Fantastic mower for the price The first reviewer must be inexperienced when using a self propelled lawnmower. The mower IS variable speed and will go as slowly as you want it to. I own this mower and have used many mowers over the past 30 plus years. The speed is controlled by how much you depress/squeeze the bail, which activates the drive system. The bail is like the accelerator on your car or truck. You can press on the gas pedal a little and barely move the vehicle, or you can stomp the pedal and really move on. For the price, this lawnmower can't be beat.
